Facebook was around in 2004 but didn't become publicly available until 2007 or so? Then it became really popular from the middle of 2009 onwards.

At least it was available for me; signed on late spring 2004. Didn't use much at first except to see others photos. Earlier design was a bit different; more profile oriented, not as much of a newsfeed.

I know it was a college forum or something.. but I wasn't really aware of it then.

Im probably closest in age to Ariete and Dunno what to put here. I had a feeling we were roughly the same age.

Think I'm going on a no carb diet because I have problems handling them for some reason. Annoying because I've actually been trying to gain weight but can't. I had some scary dizzy spells after eating high carb stuff recently so I'm increasing fat/protein intake and removing carbs from my diet. Weird stuff.

Hmm. I'd think a no carb diet would be bad for gaining weight. Maybe the dizzy spells are from having too much simple sugars, so blood sugar goes up and down too much? If you're exercising much at all, a no carb diet is a bad idea especially if your weight is low.
