Baltimore is not sub-tropical

Average high of 42F & low of 29F in January is not sub-tropical, I don't understand why so many claim US cities as being sub-tropical when they are clearly not. You need more than a hot summer...

Yea but the sd is high there and has highs of 20c + six months each year

No one here in the US considers these cities subtropical, only usually the coldest loving CD residents. They consider 70F sweltering.

Feels like a soupy 90°F here and in the Northern CT Valley (BDL)

90 Boston, MA

95 Massena, NY

92 Bangor, Maine

94 Syracuse, Baltimore & DC.

Well quite a few of the US posters on here do claim such climates as being sub-tropical... NYC, DC & now Baltimore...
