Yea, if that's what you want only northern New England would fit, but most of it is on the isolated side. But it's a lot less flat both here and up there.

Saw a white trash family today. The mother was yelling profanities at her children who must have been around 5 or 6.

Any other stereotypes? I'd be tempted to tell the mother to chill out and see how that goes.

Usually, when I dream about "good" weather events, they have about a 50/50 chance of coming true. But when it comes to the bad stuff, it's about 90%.

So yeah, the hot and dry season is upon us and it's gonna lock in for the long haul.

I will thus begin my mantra, which I'll repeat a million times for the course of the season. I hate the summer, I hate the heat, I hate the sun, I hate not getting rain. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

Only 113 days to go before the Unhappy Season ends.

It's gonna be a long, long, LONG summer.
I'll be crying all summer too, especially since I have to drive around without A/C. Torture.

I'm just so tired of it taking 30 minutes to drive 4 miles away. I'm tired of hearing gunshots every once in a while and hearing people yelling at night constantly. I want to be out of this place. I want to be in a calm place with 4 seasons, not TOO far away from a large city but with plenty of rolling hills and trees. One can dream right?
The traffic here becomes more unbearable with each passing year.

My area has plenty of rolling hills and trees and is close to both NYC and Philly, but you would probably have to get a job in an area with massive traffic jams.

I find it more tolerable if you don't think about it too much. Or if you tell yourself you can put up with it. Positive thinking goes a long way. Of course, I'm not always the best at following this advice, but I do try, and it makes a difference.

I have to work without air conditioning. The worst is yet to come, but I'm not terribly bothered by it so far. Around here summer is just meant to be suffered through. Whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

I can certainly empathize. I worked outside summers 2008 through 2013. Scarred from that experience lol.
