Major culture shock. Went to Nandos tonight and didn't like it.

I thought the black people thought they were better than us. It was kinf of us and them as they made no effort to talk to us and were laughing and gahooing all day.

They can't seem to take a joke and don't like looking. Weekend was good and I miss my sister but the culture shock was draining.

Here is the one and only reason to like Tampa. Everything else about it sucks (bad weather, High crime, fat & ugly girls, No good Jobs):

It'd be a lot more fun if that train was doing 70 through the streets...lol.

But yeah, Tampa sucks, just like the rest of Florida.

Coming up to ten years of moving up from Ft Lauderdale, and I still thank the big man upstairs that I don't have to live there anymore.

Of course, I'm not complaining about the weather here - it's about as fine as it can be.
Not only that, but they've exceeded their forecasts everyday while we couldn't get near our 10C colder forecasts. This is climate is nothing but a running gag

This is what happens when you are 2* closer to Antarctica. Absolute joke. I just don't understand. I guess I can look forward to more of this crap in summer. If it's already happening now, I cannot imagine what summer will be like. Better start buying pallets of alcohol now.

But aren't you doing that course so you can move north, or will that take a considerable amount of time?

Yep, I'm hoping to get the sweet hell outta here ASAP. The course will take about 4 months. The town I'm looking at is also much cheaper than Melbourne, here housing is no longer affordable unless you earn 100k or have a working spouse.
