Same here. I really have seen sleet and snow with the same situation in later May at least three or four times within the last ten years.

Seriously, I'm thinking about scheduling a meeting once per year. The first one would be somewhere close to the Mediterranean sea in summer 2016 on Saturday. For instance, picking a random Saturday in July 2016 somewhere north of Valencia in the Mediterranean coast of Spain, then most European CD weather members and even some others non-Europeans weather members can scheduled their own holidays to go to the meeting.
It would be interesting talking about weather and climate with you guys by two or three hours, then having a dinner all together or something like that.

It would be my first time having a real chat about weather in English, but hey, this way my spoken English will improve also.

I'm actually planning on going on a Mediterranian cruise during Summer 2016, flying to Barcelona and driving to Venice where the cruise departs. So this could definitely be arranged.

Yeah we do, although Spanish from Spain definitely has different vernacular than Venezuelan Spanish. Obviously we can understand each other though.

He wouldn't want to go to Spain anyway, they don't speak English and are all heathens or whatever.
