Bikers generally seem to be quite good drivers over here.. it is normally the old and middle aged that are terrible at driving, never indicate, use the wrong lanes at roundabouts etc. I have made it a new daily routine of mine to use my horn whenever some idiot doesn't indicate at this busy mini roundabout on my way to work. I just don't understand why people can't flick their indicator switch, it causes traffic as I have to wait for them as I have no idea where they are going

You'd constantly honk your horn here with all the roundabouts and non-indicating drivers! Actually I hate it when someone uses their horn out of anger. Annoying noise. It reminds me of driving in Paris.
My horn is pretty useless. I only use it maybe half a dozen times a year when I get stuck behind a grandma who fell asleep at a green light or when I come across such a sign: https://www.google.fr/maps/@43.87944...7i13312!8i6656
Whoever determined the synchronization (or lack thereof) of traffic lights in this city had to have been high. Not just stupid, high. It's scientifically impossible to have an IQ that ****ing low.

That's pretty much the only time I ever use it! Also, there are some really inconsiderate drivers who terrorise learner drivers, tailgating them and trying to overtake them while they are waiting for a wide enough gap to pass through between traffic.. I see this everyday! People around here are very impatient..
What does that sign say, I can't read it? Google maps seems to have distorted it.. something about obligatory sounding of your horn to show you're there or something?
Well it's easy here because we have the wireless payment.
I get scared carrying cash, you will never get it back.
I think since electronic payments are not tangible like cash, it will tend to lead to overspending. That's also money you'll never get back. And the transaction fees that financial institutions charge are taken away from society (directly, from the merchants) and only enrich the very few. They also make lots of money from interest charged on credit cards, from people living above their means. It's all a sham.

Yup, you have to sound your horn before getting to that bend under the arch in the background. Some trucks and buses use that road and will take all the width or the road. It links Cannes to Grenoble in about 5 hours.
As for learners, there's a driving school around here that has stickers saying something in the lines of "Off the gas, even you went through this at some point in your life" on their rear bumpers.

Actually, many merchants charge all customers more because of transaction fees. Even if you pay cash. Those extra costs are hidden. Sometimes merchants will specifically charge card-paying customer extra, which is definitely the right thing to do, especially for small businesses, but the braindead masses who love their credit cards would have a fit, and will take their business to ****ing multinationals like Walmart, who can afford not to charge extra.
