But actually I think Northolt recorded the lowest temperature.
I wish we had a weather station in a built up area of London, you know where people actually live!
Maybe West London is much more continental It would be nice to have a weather station in each borough, would be very interesting to see the climate variations, not that it'd be that big, but still, interesting.
There were many days when I was there in winter where London had the coldest temperatures in the country, on the daily weather forecast on TV. Even colder than Scotland and Northern Ireland.

It is the closest part to the continent, so generally we will 'benefit' the most from any winds coming off the continent

Yeah, West London is definitely more continental makes sense, the only difference between London would be the UHI and the West-East ''Continental'' difference maybe.
Lol Owen is SummerWhale, formerly known as Mac15 and Owenc. Not sure why he didn't call himself WinterWhale to be honest seeing how much he likes snow
Haha... WinterWhale would be a better fit... Rather ironically though, I swear like a month back SummerWhale said he wanted to move to Florida or something on a different thread. Why'd you want to move to Florida, when one could move to like Buffalo or something - You know, where it actually snows...

To be honest I am not really sure what his weather preferences are..
In summer he was saying how it wasn't so hot in Florida and was fed up of the NI cold summers.. but he also likes snow and cold.. so maybe his preference is somewhere continental like Chicago or Winnipeg..

Yes but a long winter and not the high s'd like America has.

Haha... Continental would be better. But there we go, Florida has better amenities... Be honest though, Florida is the kinda place I would want to live in, climate wise... If Aus was destroyed somehow, then Florida, or California, would be my next place to immigrate to!!
