^^ I recognise the houses in the last photo, you posted a pic of that neighborhood a few days ago. Wish it was -20°C here.

When I first saw photos and videos of New York City, I used to think, "What's with all these French flags?" Then I found out that it was the city flag.

I'm pretty sure nowhere in France looks like that. Parts of NW France look a bit British, but not necessarily like SE England. I guess those wouldn't look out of place on the other side of the Channel, depending on the region:

Hahaha God! Volos is a coastal city in Central Greece. The city of Volos doesn 't receive so much snow every year but it is not uncommon for our cities to have this snow. It was snowing in Volos from 30-12 through 01-01.

Christmas weather was beautiful - this was taken roughly at solar noon.

Now it's all melted, temperature is about 8°C above average and it's raining sideways outside. I no longer care, soon enough birds will be chirping and this so-called winter will be another bad memory.

This aerial video shows the beautiful town of Pennabilli after the snowfall of late December, in a nice winter landscape. Please note the fearless man above the rocky pinnacle at 2:10.

Pennabilli is a small Italian town located 47 km southwest of Rimini, at an altitude of 629 metres, above two cliffs dominating the Marecchia Valley. Originally there were two castles, Penna and Billi, which joined in a single town around 1300. It was the place of origin of the House of Malatesta, lords of Rimini from 13th to 15th century.

Little snow event here before it changed over to rain. Bamboo didn't hold up in the 6:1 wet snow ratio.

Heres a 5 images animation from my roof. Had a heavier burst around 3pm.
