Average of 52/38 for the month? I think it will be warmer than that even in your north coastal location. It's 65 at nearly 11PM here in Mission Viejo AND it's still sprinkling. Still haven't turned the heat on once this winter and normally we use it at night by this time of the year. I think December will be one of those rare months where "above average temperatures (esp. overnight lows) are paired with "above average rainfall" in California. I know it's weird because for us native Californians "rain" is associated with "cold. But it seems that this winter is going to be different, at least for December. Not sure about January or February. I wouldn't be surprised if places that normally get frosts in winter (inland empire, north coast, Bay Area away from the coast, even Sacramento) stay frost free this winter. El Nino is our friend.

Cool to come back and see how you did. Funny seeing the icon on Rams_Lord Snow prediction resut. Feel like that's the emotion for most of the U.S. LOL
It's best if we underestimate future averages from now, especially for winter What a complete flop
Only 3 days saw a minimum higher than 2C, so the rest could of been snow days, but no, instead precipitation occurred during the day time during 2C+ temperatures
