Lol. I should of used this after "lovely"
Yeah, that was sarcasism. Saving grace is it won't be muggy but I'll be finding the shade to keep cool.

Chilly morning but warms up very fast with sun. Already mid 50s. 15 degree rise in couple hours.

I'm just glad the hot weather starts tomorrow, not today. One more night without air conditioning, and then it'll be desperately needed, just when I'll be able to get it set up. I have not seen a single stinkbug in my bedroom in months, even though it's spring now, which has been a very pleasant surprise. But with the AC window unit, they'll have a way to get in now. Oh well, I'd rather put up with stinkbugs than a hot room.

Even for upstate, the next eight days look ill. If that was the forecast the entire year, there would be no war

Drought outlook for May. Improvement in Southern Plains and southern Florida, but persistence elsewhere.

Low was about 47F this morning, a new daily record! The old record was 48F in 1999, monthly record is 40F.
Next week will be warmer, and on the ten day forecast, I see 90F predicted on May 10th and 11th. Not really looking forward to the prolonged summer, but at least school will be out!
