The high for today is forecast to be 1C (34F). It would be nice if we were to get our latest ice day on record, though I think it's rather unlikely as forecasts have been underestimating highs lately.

Wouldn't either April 6 or 7, 1982 have set that record?
SMHI doesn't do such stats but I'm sure back in the 1940's it was much earlier and later respectively than would be conceiveable today. So I'd guess early October and early May.
In my lifetime more like last few days of October and mid-April.
Latest, I think is probably March. I've had 1/2 maxes in April, but it's hard to get an ice day due to daylength.
