Currently 85 F here right now. The forecast last night was calling for a high of 90 F today. Now it's been lowered to 89 F. We haven't hit 90 F since last Friday, so it'll be interesting to see if I can hit it again before that front gets here Friday evening.
It's 80°F and cloudy in Athens, GA right now, with numerous "micro-thunderstorms" or moderate to heavy rain showers nearby. You know what I mean; there's lots of little tiny cells of precipitation, and many of them are yellow, but none of them are large, so whatever rain you get from them is brief, and you might not even see lightning or hear thunder in any of them. Nuisance downpours, basically.
Elsewhere, if the high temperature in Pittsburgh reached 90°F today, that'll be 10 days this year, which is perfectly normal in that regard. It's a race against time, though; the 1PM observation in Pittsburgh has the temperature at 88°F under partly cloudy skies, but the clouds are increasing to the west in Cleveland and Columbus, which has kept a lid on the temperatures there. We'll see if Pittsburgh can get to 90°F before the clouds roll in.

Nope, won't get there. Blue-balled at 89°F before thunderstorms fired nearby. Pittsburgh was literally one quality heating hour shy of a normal summer in 2015.
