Bridgeport hasn't had a max that stayed below 79 since August 12th. Take that. Today's max of 80° came at 2am so today won't do it either. Clouds and Rain FEELS SOOOO GOOD!!! I forgot what 70s was like!

After this impressive dig of cold to the south this weekend, comes that warm pop in the East couple days later. SeeSaw! How is the Hudson Bay supposed to freeze over like this! lol

Another Heat Wave next week but staying South of Philly.

Cool how Texas rain is in front of the front and Maines rain is behind the front.

I'm waiting for my extra rain to come to push me over the 1" mark.

That front over Iowa right now is the reinforcing front for the Southeast. Dewpoints in the 30s and 40s right now during the day behind that front. Temps in the lovely 60s & 50s in spots!

85 degrees with a dew point of 65 degrees.

Santa Maria, California has a higher dew point than Lexington, Kentucky!

They are expecting bright colors in Minnesota

Brighter than normal fall colors expected

"We're only in the second week of September, but it is already starting to feel like fall. A few trees have started to change too.

If we get strong fall weather systems that drop our temperature below freezing earlier than normal, that can speed up the process. Winds could also blow all the leaves off the trees.

Let's talk about what makes leaves green. Chlorophyll, is necessary for photosynthesis, the process of creating food for the plant. As the Chlorophyll fades away, the true colors of the leaf are exposed giving us the yellows, oranges, and reds."
