I wore a sweater this morning. Speaking of chest hair, I'm shirtless right now

I am an overseas citizen of India, and naturalized citizen of the US.

Its more or less like a dual citizenship.

I think this thread is dying. That's sad.

It was so humid today. My balls were sweaty. But I don't have balls.

It's 2:15am. I got hungry. My toaster died. I was going to have toast. No toast for me.

Messed up my sleeping pattern. I had it on 2am to 11am.

Now back to 2am to 1pm....

Mum said I needed a long rest, I probably did.

Actually, gun violence does not correlate with restrictive gun laws in the US. Some of the safest places in the US are smaller towns in Middle America, where many guns are lawfully owned. Actually, some of the more dangerous cities are in states with more restrictive guns laws.. e.g., Camden or Newark right here in New Jersey.
The thing that I find hard to understand about America is that despite having very frequent mass gun killing sprees, nothing is done about the very lax gun laws. It's as if the "Right to bear arms" which was brought in 224 years ago is more important than actually protecting lives. At that time in history it was probably quite necessary for someone to own a gun to protect themselves, but come on it is 2015 & the only reason people now need guns for protection is because so many other people have guns!

It took just one or two mass gun killing sprees in the UK & Australia for those countries to ban completely certain types of guns & to tighten gun laws, making it very hard to obtain one. In the UK for example not only do the police do a check before you can purchase a gun, but they come to your home to make sure they are kept in a secure locked cabinet...

Every time I see on the news that another nutter has shot a bunch of people in a school or a cinema or a shopping complex or just out on the street somewhere in America, I feel sad, but not at all shocked or surprised. It is so common that it is never even the headline news story anymore, which in itself is shocking.

There are lots of good things about the US & it is a great country, but the guns laws there scare the hell out of me & I could never live there for that reason alone. Madness...
