I don't think that that weather box is accurate, since I don't think its winters are much different from Kharkiv's.
For me, it's an A - one of best climates in Ukraine along with Sumy.

I have visited Pryluki, Chernihiv in May and in August. The weather was pleasant and sunny. Not too hot.

January was cold and snowy - but I like cold and snowy winters. There was more sunshine there than I'd expected.

Summers look good, but winters are too cold and I'm not a fan of this rainfall pattern. Sunshine hours are just fine - C.
