I hear that for LA it's May through to September - Mostly sunny and warm. Stable, predictable, monotonous weather...No need to bother checking the weather for the next day or week....

What month or season in your place is weather pretty much the same where you don't find yourself checking the forecast? Here it's August - temps are around 17-22C with sunny to partly cloudy conditions. Not much interesting going on. September comes close, but the temperatures are much more fluctuating though (19C today, 28C tomorrow)....

Here from April to September there is little rain & it's sunny just about every day. Normally June, July & August are bone dry & hot every day, we have had some rare rainfall this month though due to the unusually warm sea temperatures...

Isn't rain still variable enough you'd need to check the forecast? Wikipedia says August has 10 rainy days.

As for here, there is month that comes close, though there are occasional weeks where it's stable and consistent.

winter/late autumn has the most stable temperatures. Months like June and even May are probably the most stable months with a lot of repetitive weather.

All of August its 17-22C without rain?

I think all places need forecasting but yeah, some locations oh so boring.

Mostly true, but more so for July-September. This year we had some rain in July, which was unusual. Most years you are fine just checking the forecast once a week to see if it's going to be "hot" or "hotter."

June to September doesn't need forecasting here. Basically highs of 31 to 34 C with a 40-50% chance of thunderstorms every day. Overnight lows 24-27 C.

Mid December to Mid February here is pretty easy to forecast..

6C-10C, mostly cloudy would be a large majority of the days, as you can see..

Even in warmer winter months, the weather is still very monotonous.

Can the forecast help in which winter days get rain?

No month/season fits that description here. Nasty weather can happen at any time.

Would have thought the UK is similar to here.
