I'm so happy that our team won. The German team was significantly better the whole match, but mental midgetry and the penalty following Boatengs handball made the match closer than it should have been.
Just been out to a mid winter swim - a bit of a non event, with 15C air and water temperatures, and a beautiful day. The sand was warm underfoot, even though it was a -2C air temperature there this morning.

I was offered a Bloody Mary at work recently, which I accepted, so as not to cause offense. That and the beer chaser gave me a good buzz. I was working in an advisory capacity and ended talking quite a hard sell, which is not usually my style.
