Aiangel, stay safe and let us know how your area turned out today. You're actually the person I was thinking of when I saw the original map posted. Now it's broadened so much and there are several from here who are in on it. According to TWC, it's extended into OK and several more states.

My brother in law is in Memphis, trying to come home, but Hwy 78 is closed, a tornado hit the southern part of Memphis and damage is extensive, also a tornado hit Southaven MS and damage is pretty bad, and another tornado oxford 1 injury, 2 industries, church, several homes, 3 miles west-southwest of Abbeville close to Oxford MS, the Catipillar plant there has been leveled. Memphis area is not only area Jackson Tn hit and damage and injuries and trapped people. In Memphis, THe Hickory RIdge Mall had significant damage, and we are not even close to this outbreak being over yet. My brother in law said 3 people were killed in Arkansas. We have to put up with this till 2am.

These tornadoes in Oxford are around 30 miles from us, but we had a tornado warning around 6:30 Central with a tornado sighted but not touching down thank goodness. Our town storm shelters are full at the moment. It is going to be a long night tonight people.

just watched the news and the line heading our way is a monster guys. I talked to a friend of mine who works at LeBonner in Memphis and she says that they are expecting many injuries at the Hickory Ridge Mall in Memphis and at a college in Jackson TN. The local news just reported that the whole roof of Sears at Hickory Ridge fell in or blew off. Injuries have all been accounted for so far.

The main line is at the Ms. RIver and cloud tops are as high as 70,000 and all the counties from North to South are tornado warnings. It is going to be a rough and bumpy ride shortly folks.
