It was low 60s here, I wore just a polo shirt.

The high here today was just 73F due to cloud cover, which is 13F below our normal high temp.

Looks like Ahmedabad reached 49C on Wednesday, which (if true) should be an all-time record there, and also the hottest temperature ever recorded for a city of its size, par Baghdad which has a population of 7M and has reached 51C before.

I saw that Long Island had more sun then here. I had about 4.5hrs total sunshine but wasn't fully clear sky.

I was in shorts and t-shirt yesterday and it was mid-upper 60s so I don't get it. You're in NC, wasn't it in the 70s at least?

Edit ........... Nevermind, I see North Carolina max temps were in the 60s. Understable now why you were cold. WOW! Where is the area of 70s between the 60s and 80s?

And was Texas max really 50s & 60s too?

Well, I'll be darned.... Lubbock Texas didn't get out of the 50s yesterday. Mid 90s on the 7th and 10th

Heat Wave coming?...... 80s heat wave. lol

According to GFS00z...

Starting Wednesday the 80s start creeping north.. So it's pretty much seasonable or cool till then. (another 6 days)

Then Thursday the heat begins.... but how many times can we really say this!?? It's 7 days away but better than 10 and there's been talk and support for end of month heat.

Friday

Saturday

Sunday.

But there's scattered rain and maybe clouds around most of those days so maybe it's not picking that up like it did for this week with all these clouds and kept the surface cooler than projected.
