Ugh, sorry. Nice and frozen in northern Canada, Arctic, and Asia right now. The places to be for me.

Funny cause a lot of those areas in the Arctic are above normal but people are so clueless what anomaly and actual mean. Its still below freezing and very cold in areas there! ( -4°F - 20°F )

8pmEST (00z) temps
I'll take my November 80's thank you, we had a high of 82° today, which was actually below normal, with morning clouds giving way to afternoon sun, and it was great

Do you mind me asking your nationality? No need to answer, just curious.

Next week in the Northern UP? I think models trended warmer but subject to flip flops still. You might get timing right to be there during a cold blast. We'll see. Euro says no blast except a warm one. lol

Todays Mins on left, Max on right. Some 30-40 degree ranges out there.

Hartford 28 to 57
Saranac Lake 18 to 53
Pittsburgh 39 to 77!

Bastardi continues to insist on a big pattern flip mid month

5 day averages, still don't see below average temps here, though closer to average maybe

I'll answer as I think it is a strange question regarding the topic. I am American born and raised, but my parents' families were from Eastern Europe

NOW ..............

Polar Vortex has split .. Expect a cold mid November to end of month. We'll have to see how warm beginning of November is but I am calling for a Below normal November around this region... FINALLY... a below normal month! ?? We'll see

I sure hope so. I'm praying to the Maple God of Fall for some damn change down here lol.

Trees are changing later than last fall, I've noticed. Last year, they started turning around October 20th-25th. This year, its barely begun.

Starting Thursday we don't seem to have any more highs in the 80s and lows will creep down to the 50s. Weather we should have had more of LAST month. Oh, well, finally some change. Last November we had only one day it reached 80. And it was briefly. There was a tornado down in Fort Worth that day. I had to call in late cuz no way was I going to work with the tornado sirens going off lol.
