How many genuine meteorologists actually frequent these forums?

Default Can't Stand The Wind

And not only the obviously destructive wind of hurricanes and T-Storms, but also 20-30 mph with gusts over 40. It moans and whistles down the flues. It's physically tiring just listening to it. Anyone who embraces the wind has got to have a screw loose. Aw hell, maybe it's just less tolerance in old age.

Nothing beats a bit of atmospheric instability

Lol, jk. I hate the wind, especially if it's cold.

Although I do love the sound of howling winds outside when I'm safe and sound in my house.

Why didn't you consider Reading? They have the best meteorology course in the UK, if not Europe, and you get a year overseas in Tulsa.

Because it's too high entry requirements and I don't want to go to Oklahoma.

Why is it that you know absolutely nothing about the climate of the UK then?

Erm if anybody is thinking of studying meteorology at Norwich, I'd think again...

If you want to study meteorology and actually live in southern England, then Reading is the place.

Norwich is further north than Birmingham or Leicester!
