That area and a bit south is the perfect place for island climates. Any climates around there would be a combination of oceanic and subtropical which would match my climate desires.

It's already October, and the temp range there appears to be from 16-19 C most of the time, which means that during winter, the average temperatures would probably be colder than 16/20.

It's in the Southern Hemisphere, and is north of Tristan da Cunha and south of St. Helena.

Hmm, okay it may be caused by distinct northerlies as well. Buenavista del Norte in Tenerife has a climate that is like that.

(obviously save for milder lows)

But again, I doubt that sources accuracy. I can't see that the Titanic site would be -6 in the archive all winter considering how far out it is.

This is the climate of Sable Island two latitudes farther north for example:

Open ocean air temps around the UK seems to very between 10-12c in winter and 17-18c in summer.
