I am not certain if this is accurate, but if it is accurate this is probably the answer: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alta,_Utah

I'm thinking Valdez as suggested.

Perhaps some other place in Alaska, but Valdez is looking like a strong candidate. Some areas in eastern Newfoundland are strong contenders for the Atlantic side.

I totally forgot about Alta. Yep, Januaries in Alta are snowier than Decembers in Valdez.

There are numerous reporting sites around the Rocky Mountain Region of the USA with significantly higher monthly snowfall totals. It's not uncommon to see Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr months with more than 60" of snowfall through the month measured on ski slopes and the adjacent towns. Without looking up specific months, I do recall more than a few such monthly totals bringing over 60" total in Jackson WY, Vail CO ... and numerous other ski resort towns through the region.

As well, the Sierra mountain towns can see some sizable totals in a winter month.

I only saw Alta now. Wow, that is an insane climate

I wonder how come all precipitation there given how semi-arid Utah generally is?

Orographic lift. When I lived in Ohio I lived in a small, isolated higher-elevation area and it had a noticeable effect on precipitation amount.

Have you recently discovered the place and if so does it knock your previous Colorado favourite and the Swiss one (St. Moritz?) off the top spot? It looks like a Saritra dream climate to me
