hmm. Early May feels warmer as I'm comparing it to weather from the prior couple months. Also, sun is a lot higher. Early May is about the same as early October. May 7: 67°F/42°F. October 6: 66°F/41°F

For the past three hours it's been 83°F with a 53°F dew point. I wish summer was like this. There's bright sunshine too, and everything has been fully leafed out for the past few weeks.

Here in Aurora, ME, 56F Degrees, Dew Point 46F Degrees, Wind, South 13MPH... Partly Cloudy...
Earlier on, it was bright and sunny and we walked along the creek that runs between the Birch Meadows and Forest....Spotted a young beaver who moved down stream a couple of weeks ago (from the family who returned last Summer and re-established the dam, lodge and had a family of five Beavers)...Was impressed by it's repair of the old dam (which had washed-out in September 2015).
We now have a waterfront view! Sweet little bugger has increased the water to 2 1/2 feet deeper (within the past two weeks)!
Saw fish a jumping upstream! Excited about the increase of Brookie Trout!
Found Wood violets blooming in the Birch Meadows again this year and transplanted them in our flowerbeds...
Ahhhhh.... Spring, how I love your warm embrace and how your fragrance seduces my senses! Constantly you draw me outdoors to gaze upon your beauty, awaken me in the morning with an orchestra of Song Birds and close with a show of color across the horizon that takes my breath away!
Ahhhh...Spring...You've captured my heart!

There's been a few peaks of sun, but overall it's been cloudy with occasional heavy showers today. Currently 47 F/8 C after topping out at only 53 F/12 C. Forecast low of 37 F/3 C tonight. Looks like the cool and wet weather will continue this week. Awesome start to May.
