Binghamton only 1.50" yet with over 20" of snow.

is that 4.48" for a Jersey shore station?

Snow flurries have returned to Long Island; light accumulation is possible in a couple hours. Despite the heavy rain for hours, barely any snow melted throughout the day and any water on the ground will freeze tonight.

Still snowing here at 5PM. Now it's snowing down at the Jersey Shore after getting a lot of sleet and rain.

Finally letting up. Was snowing for good 2 hours. Winds ripping to 35mph now from the North

Doing my core sample. 9 inches of snow & sleet melted to 1.85" liquid. That's 5:1 ratios.

Am I geek or what? ITS FUN!

When is this gonna melt? Basement window almost buried now. This is a sheltered spot but gets drifting.

That dry slot wasn't forecasted well by the models for it being as large as it was.

This storm is lasting longer than any other storms this past winter I believe. I think its like over 15 hours now since the start. It's testing my stamina for sure. lol

Loop last 4 hours 1:20-5:20pm
  • I see very pretty clouds over Kentucky.
  • Burlington VT under heavy banding for few hours
  • Philly changed over the snow for short time
  • Maine and Northern New England getting hammered now.
  • Mt Washington I wonder whats going on up there at 6200'
  • Huge Dry slot as you guys mentioned
  • 981mb Storm now passing Long Island, cant believe its that close to the coast
  • Lastly... look for the lightning icons in MA. Thundersnow there!
  • Still raining on Nantucket? They must be over 2 inches now. I saw flooding reports in Southeast New England
