I see the first hissy fit has been thrown and 80f hasn't even been reached yet...

I think you'll find that it's done for Miami, NYC and Chicago.

My poll, my rules. If London reaches 80f, then it counts. The title of the thread says London, not Heathrow.

No it's not, all Miami threads use MIA, all NYC threads use Central Park, and all Chicago threads usually use ORD.

If you don't stick to one station for all observations, it's cherrypicking, no way around that.

By your logic Miami averages multiple freezes per year. lololol.

You seem to be the only person who cares. If someone lives in London and records 80f, have they not actually reached 80f unless Heathrow also sees it?

No, I'm not saying temps aren't different around the city (or course they are). I'm just saying that, for the sake of consistency, all official observations (those that represent the city as a whole) need to be from the same place.

London's one of the largest cities that is frequently discussed on this forum, as a result it has a lot of stations to choose from. All are perfectly valid.

Cherrypicking a station that reaches the target first does not contradict the premise of the thread.

AJ is a little kid who doesn't know much about climate. He regularly posts data from dodgy stations for his location

If a LONDON station hits 80F then LONDON has reached 80F, it's that simple

That was unnecessary and also untrue. Dickbag move there attacking me personally over a disagreement, especially since I normally support you.

If ANY official Met Office weather station in London records 80F, then 80F has been recorded in London

If a city has more than one weather station then it is hardly "cherry picking" is it

What station in Miami records multiple freezes every year?
