GFS continues to show widespread 70s next week in the East up to Canada. Looks like a Bermuda High might set up. Still 8 days away, we'll see.

Wednesday 80s for coastal states?

Thursday 80s for coastal states?

Wonder if this will mean flooding concerns. Look at all that snow still around in Eastern Canada!

Agreed. There's buds here in Pittsburgh but nothing close to a leaf yet. Heck it was snowing last week

5th Sunny day in a row! but here comes the clouds. Currently some High clouds are dimming the sun but what an awesome day. Everyone north of NJ with the sun is in the 60s including Montreal and Maine

Just cloudied up in Philly. Rain tonight and tomorrow here

11:30CST map. Those 30s are higher elevation. 3000'+. Looks chilly in central Nebraska with rain and 40s.

80s in South Texas. Not really seeing widespread torching hot around. Next week we will

This morning Bastardi is still banking on a cold May as the SOI index is tanking. But models hinting at major warm spell. Question is will it happen and will it last?

New GFS12z.. Mid 80s next week?? Can it at least wait until there are leaves on the trees?

It used to be rare to hit 80s without leaves here but recent yrs its happened. Late Spring and Early summer will do that.

Isnt Joe Bastardi very cold biased? No surprise that he would be selling the cold even as many models are turning towards warmth

He's saying cold (in the east) after a transient warm spell. GFS seems to agree?
