On the contrary, enjoy the weather because it's about to change. But you need the rain, it's your rainy season. However, California needs it more, during El Nino that's when they need to get dumped on.

El Niño is actually wet for CA because that's where the lower jet is. Mt Shasta southwards sees the effects of the jet while we get collateral rainfall.
Dunsmuir, CA (near Mt Shasta) is expected to see an inch and a half of rain on Friday. We're expected to get 0.20" that same day. And when they expect an inch, they get an inch - it's not like here where storms like to die out before they happen and just drop drizzle.
