Our cold nights for this weekend have been forecast to warm up 2° with is 1° above frost temps. I don't trust them at all at this stage. There is to much at stake to be fooled. I've had warmer springs in NW MO. I remember planting tomatoes by the middle of April in the garden with milk jugs for mini green houses and they were off and running by May 1. We did have extremes there also.
Freeze here for southern Indiana this weekend, coldest low temperature will be 28-29F.

Current forecast here is 34F on Sunday morning, 32F on Monday morning. So we might avoid frost. But it's still going to be fairly cool, so it's not like the garden is going to do much. The warm weather previously forecasted for Mon-Fri has been downgraded to an average high of only 12C/54F for those five days. Looks like the Midwest is still on track for 60s-70s that week though.
It's been 50s here pretty much every day, but that's not what stands out. It's well below average, but it's not that weird in early April. But this might be the soggiest stretch of weather I can recall here in recent years outside of tropical systems passing in September/October (and that usually only lasts about 36 hours). It's been raining pretty much 80% of the time since about Tuesday early morning now and not a drizzle either, some real soaking rain.
Low humidity and windy this afternoon and evening. Had gusts up to 49 mph earlier. Temp of 63F with dewpoint of 27F right now. Was under a fire weather watch despite wet conditions lately.
Today was the hottest day of the year so far here at 16.5°C. Also lots of +20°C readings around inland parts of SW BC today too with the hot spot being A$hcroft on 23.5°C.
Big changes on the way! Still the possibility of snow Sunday and/or Monday morning.
Only 8 days into April and some locations are already over 4" of rain! (Orange). 2-4" (yellow).
