Storms overnight in Indianapolis woke me up around 2AM. This morning the sun is out and it is humid. Highs in the upper 80s today with more storms likely late this evening and into the overnight again. Severe weather is possible but most likely to the northwest of us from a line sinking south. It will probably be weakening as it loses the heat of the day by the time it gets here.
Mid to upper 80s today. Could touch 90 degrees in spots if storms hold off. Some storms could pack a punch. They did yesterday evening in parts of the area.
Already 81 degrees at Midway airport at 9am. It's 77F here and 79F up at ORD under partly cloudy skies. As of yesterday ORD is at +0.3F MDW is at +1.6F and I'm at -0.3F
Cooler conditions later this week but BAM Weather saying that warm air will filter back into the Midwest by next week
Next 15 days in 5 day intervals from the Euro... But hold on there is a typhoon in the Pacific. If it recurves it could get cool here in a couple weeks
Finally relief in Western Europe from heat and drought

^ Just be glad you are getting precipitation. NJ is now the new Florida, can’t buy any rain.
Yeah it does look like your area has been extremely dry. We've been overall dry but precip values are near normal. Meaning that there hasn't been many episodes of rain but when they have occurred they have been in the form of downpouring thunderstorms. However they also have been hit or miss too.
Oh no....hurricane are now forming in the Atlantic Ocean
