Yesterday was an interesting day. It was the 4th day in a row with more than 6 hours of sunshine.
Last time that happened was May 9-12.

Only 5 times we had more than 3 days in a row with 6+hrs of sun

Pearson Intl only got 0.015 inches... I think we got more than that still, based off containers I left outside, I'd say around 0.2 inches. Still not enough to make up for the significant shortfall though.

As of yesterday the average high/low temp at Midway is 84.6F/64.7F and the Mean is 74.6F which is +3.2F above normal. ORD's is 82.0F/61.4F with a Mean of 71.7F which is +1.6F above normal. IKK is 83.8F/60.5F with a Mean of 72.1F which is +1.3F above normal.

Euro backing off on some of the precip totals from previous runs. But the Midwest should see some rain chances as the MJO is moving into phases 1 and 2

I ended up receiving 0.95'' of precipitation yesterday evening. A push of drier air tonight should provide a low temperature close to 50F, which is about as cool as it can get this time of year at this elevation.

It's crazy. Italian climate is usually so predictable and and progress so harmonically thru the year, with summers kickin in suddenly when July starts, like a 'natural A/C' turning on. But this time all came at least a half a month earlier, with plenty of locations breaking their all time monthly records, including the capital! If it's so hot already I'm scared of what this July may bring there!
