With 56 fatalities the Ice Storm of 2009 has now became more deadly than the Super Tuesday Tornado Outbreak of 2008 which left 49 dead. 25 of the ice storm fatalities are in KY, with door to door searches going on to find other victims or survivors

That's sad. Winter definitely is a very deadly time of year for the midsection and the north.
