Sunny in cenral Minnesota

WOW! Those snowfall amounts are really something out East

We get lots of snow in central Minnesota, but the most we have ever gottern in one day was 25 inches ( St Patrick's Day 1965) .

Those totals out East for metropolitan areas are huge !

Yes!

I live in Lancaster, Texas (a suburb of Dallas) and we have received between 3 and 3.5 inches of snow already with more expected.

Yes, one local station said some areas may be poised to get as much as 10 inches of snow! That is a lot for Dallas. We do get snow here, but it usually about an inch or less. Often barely more than a dusting of it.

I live an hour north of Pensacola, FL and it's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow. The last time it snowed here was in '96.
