It's pretty much all in the title

I'm looking to move in the next 6 weeks. I've applied to a few law schools in multiple states, but I still need to move even if that doesn't pan out this year.

Basically, a place that is temperate but not too dark during the winter, and not too humid during the summer.

I currently live in Alexandria, VA, just outside D.C. - not bad, but still a tad too dark in winter and too humid in summer, plus I've been here long enough (8 years).

MAYBE North Carolina, Tennessee? East Coast? But for sure California on the west Coast.

I would say anywhere on the California coast south of San Francisco would be ideal for moderate temperatures and comfortable weather year round for most people. There is usually a fair amount sun in the winter even if there is some rain and it's dry as a bone in the summer with little humidity. I think it would be great for someone with asthma. Southwest locations would also be great as well although they can get a bit chilly in the winter.
