As for the previous discussion, I drink more than is healthy, and I'm also a stone cold atheist. But let the people keep their faith and nobody should be forced to drink, but I'm very much against people telling how to live "the right way". So keep your religion and teetotaling out of my face, and I won't shove my social liberal ideas upon you.

Note: backing political arguments with religion is shoving in my face.
Christianity (and other religions. Judaism?) and drinking don't need to mutually exclusive. I know a number of Christians that like drinking, though they're not drunks. In fact, I have a friend who once got a bit drunk and then listened to a liturgical service online.

I'm against any religion that combines the laicite with the supernatural.

I repeat: If you get satisfaction from your religion so be it, but don't force us to think that for example gay marriage is unaceptable because your holy book say so. I don't support your holy book and I'm not interested in your bible-bashing arguments. I'm only interested in parliamentary decisions.

No but there are different cultural views and traditions.

Like even Catholics from UK would be different to ones from like France...

And Anglo means British religions.

There's no such thing as a British religion, culture will have an effect on religion but that doesn't mean the religion is British or American etc...
