Same here. It's been 12°C with drizzle for a week here and all weather news pieces are going on about how this is "enjoyable warmth" and dreading the sub freezing temps to arrive next week. How anyone can prefer a muddy, rainy, mildly cool mush to a clean and crisp freeze is beyond me. But then 75% of the people here would love nothing more than Singapore weather year round.

It's been average here, not mild. Fell to 3.9C this morning which is alright, but we should fall below freezing soon.

Well it hasn't been that mild here there have been a few single figure days, what has been keeping my sanity is the cold mornigns and the clear skies. The sad thing, is tomorrow is the last sunny day and then it is going to be 11c in the day and 10c in the night with constant low cloud right through to thursday. There are members on a certain british forum who are constanlty posting charts of high pressure from the azores sayign how great it will be, they should know by now that the azores always brings cloud. The air temperatures in some cases will be colder than the upper air anyway.

I do not know how any human being could enjoy that weather. Seriously.

I am glad it is going to be cold therafter as I need it. 5c on thursday will be superb.

The clocks are going back next week too.

blah blah blah slag off and mind your own business. You have NO IDEA IN HELL how crap this climate is relative to the rest of Australia. Oh wait, but you live in Ireland, so you are well familiar with overcast gloom and drizzle which is the default weather here May-Sept inclusive. Or well into Oct as is the case this record crap year.

I can't help but chuckle a bit when I read Australians complaining about how cold it is.. it's like me complaining about how hot it is at 25C.. and I don't even do that. Pray that there will not be an ice age, Aussies will become extinct.
