Democrats (ignoring their glorious history of racism) would like to tell you that 1) no, she cannot win West Virginia because it is a "hick" state and those folks vote Republican and 2) she doesn't need to because she'll win so many other states ... but the fact is, she can and she has a pretty good shot honestly. Bill carried the state twice very easily (along with "hick states" Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia and Missouri - so much for Democrats' misplaced elitism), and it is a very, very Blue state locally. Granted, WV Democrats tend to be socially moderate to conservative, but they're still Democrats. Just as Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, etc. are still very Democratic states locally, they're just upset with how ultra-liberal the national party has become ... still doesn't make them, in any way, Republicans.

Fact is, Hillary appeals to the "redneck vote" just as her husband did ... and that should be very scary to Republicans unless they also nominate a moderate and start winning traditionally Republican states like Maine, New Hampshire, Colorado, Florida, etc. again.
