hillary won't get to decide what we ignore if she runs again. her state department put out misleading statements suggesting it was a spontaneous attack due to some anti-Islam video, but it was an orchestrated attack on 9-11 by a terrorist group. her state department put out an obvious lie, why? it's a good question that she refuses to answer.

this is like some white guy saying he wasn't in favor of slavery but it is a necessary evil. that is how a lot of white people defended slavery back in the day and it's the same logic you use for abortion.

several democrats have put out plans to ban guns. they will start with the "assault weapons" as they like to call them and move to handguns.

This thread is indicative of everything that is wrong with West Virginia. It's amazing how it's the only state in the North East that has somehow regressed in the last fifty years.

That is not the same logic I used.

I know of no reason to think that banning AR-15s and AK-47s is going to end up banning handguns. That is a complete distortion. There have been various kinds of gun control laws since before the Revolutionary War, and people still have the right to bear arms.

Hillary won enough votes in the 2008 Primary to (theoretically) allow her to win the general election.

Can you post a link to the bills that have been introduced that ban handguns? I'd be curious to see how a Congressman or Senator worded such a bill.

During Obama's term we have had 7 embassy attacks, during George W. Bush's term we had 10, during Bill Clinton's term we had 3, during George H. W. Bush's term we had 1, during Reagan's term we had 4, during Carter's we had 3.

Where were you posting your protests then?

What curseofwilmore said is correct.

The debates were a tie because neither candidate did a good job from start to finish.

The State has sat back and watched the enviromental damage from oil, timber and coal since it became a state. What is the difference now?

Ignorance is bliss...

When people can't decipher propaganda from either party and base their rationalities on said propaganda and Pastor Billy Bob says what do you think happens? Also, the national Republican party has been pumping a lot of money into WV ever since the 80s in order to turn what was once a solid blue state to red. Looks like it's working.

Well clearly Hillary was supposed to be strapped with an oozie patrolling the perimeter of the embassy... duh... lol

That whole situation was just a ploy by the Republican party to try to bash the most popular Dem and grasping at straws to down Obama. As you said, it's happened during the for aforementioned presidencies as well, but lets focus on that and ignore the fact that she was pushing democracy around the world, and improving our standing with other nations and leaders.

One could argue that the national Democratic Party has adopted platforms and principles that the Democratic voters in WV don't agree with, and therefore the voters have shifted to the party/candidates that best represents their views (for presidential elections only; WV remains pretty solidly Democratic in state/local contests).

Or perhaps the Commander in Chief could have dispatched a Marine platoon or two to help protect the lives of the Embassy personnel? An A-10 or an Apache?

And maybe the Administration could have admitted from the get-go that this was a terrorist attack, instead of a protest against a You-Tube video.
