It looks like all of the High Schools have decent ratings with the central HHS having the highest ratings (#4 in state). But the others seems fine with above state average ratings and respectable rankings. Can anyone offer any other information beyond the stats about what the schools are like. Any of the three main schools excel more at sports or music? Are some more rural than others? I'm sure there is rivalry between any close high schools but is it caused by class? I know where I grew up there was the high school of affuence and then the other high school that always felt kind of inferior to the other (right or wrong, it was true that the kids felt that way on both sides).
Someone told me Hendersonville Elementary is an application school meaning you need to apply to go. Is it a charter school? Is application just a lottery or is it based on tests/performance?
