I grew up my whole life in Clyde, NC. My parents where both from there.
My father was a military veteran. My family traveled the world and when I was five he retired and we went straight back to Clyde. I have very happy and fond memories as a child. My grandparents lived in Clyde and we had your typical happy loving family. I truly believe that those things are a direct result of you're suroundings. I brought my new husband there for a family reunion (he has lived in New Hampshire for 20 years) and he fell in love with Clyde. There is alot of history just minutes. I highly recommend living in Clyde and can't wait to move back home. I to have been away since I was 18 and really didn't appreciate it when I lived there. Very beautiful country. Mild winters and georgious falls. Summer can get humid but not for long. Good luck!!
