Thank you for your suggestion, PA would be great, but in my area there are no part-time PA programs and I really can't (and don't want to) quite my job. Thanks for the idea though

I thought you were considering quitting for nursing school. I've been thinking about PA as well, but the salary is too low for a career change.

I was planning to work through nursing school and that's why it would take me six years as opposed to the accelerated three years.

Maybe you should think of becoming an MD if you like PA work and require more money. The prereqs for med school and PA school are quite similar. If I was able to not work, I would definitely go to med school. love math and science and school in general! Good luck with what you decide to do!

I was premed as an undergrad, but did grad school instead. Residency hours are not for me and I was an older student. You're definitely young enough for med school. Too bad you can't financially swing it. Good luck on your future path!
