On the envelope I spelled the man's last name with the letter "S". He has an unusual last name so I became curious and googled his name only to find out it starts with the letter "C". is there any way I can somehow catch up with the mail service and change it?? it will be delivered within the next 18 hours!

at the post office i called and asked the person on the phone to give me the man's last name, and after she told me how to spell it, i confirmed it and spelled it back and she said it was right.

is this something i should really stress about??

It's likely that the secretary will open the mail and he won't even see the envelope.

Even if he would see it, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do once it's in the hands of the post office.

I knew someone that used to keep all of the envelopes that has his name misspelled on them...

He had a a lot of them mounted and on the wall of his office...
