I voted 6. I like my job in itself, but the administrative BS is what causes me to dislike it. Every time I turn around there seems to be some new policy that makes my job more difficult and increases my workload. Oh and no raises this year while they continually remind us that we should be thankful we even have a job.

Okay vent over & back to work!

I think I go from a 6-10 depending on the day. Sometimes I want to tell everyone to F off and walk out, and other days I stay off the clock just because I'm enjoying myself so much.

The biggest issue is that the owner of the company has this insatiable need to be involved in EVERYTHING, which usually involves him making us all feel like crap by telling us were basically worthless. He has amazing business sense, but zero personnel skills and instead of urging us to work better and giving us the opportunity to advance our knowledge and experience, he focuses only on our mistakes and berated us for them instead of offering constructive criticism.

That kind of stuff wears on you, especially when he's telling you how many mistakes you've made with a smug, satisfied smirk on his face. You would think he would at least try and be supportive of the people trying to make his company money.

I detest the shallow, materialistic corporate butt boys that I work with and I find the work itself boring and tedious. However, I earn a decent salary and have great benefits. That is why I give my job a 3 instead of a 1. I'm an accountant btw..

Because of my boss 1--too bad there wasn't a zero option available, or I would have chosen that.

I've grown to tolerate it. I did this telemarketing thing many years ago. I have tried to quit and work in other fields. But, nobody wants me so when I call and these jabronies scream at me to be put on the do not call list I have a major chip on my shoulder. I hold my ground! I can navigate through with my entourage. We hang out at the walgreens and buy granola bars, peanuts, and $1 burritos. I have accepted that this is the way it will be for quite a while.
