Maybe he lives in a high rise and his apartment is hot.

Anyone acquainted with a city should realize it can be a lot cooler outside compared to the top floor of a building in the city.

So I'm mad that the TEMP waited for me to wake up before it started going down.
You were probably having a panic attack.

I usually don't start using the AC until May but it looks like it will be late April this year.

That's really such an imposition for the weather to do that to you. Have you thought of how you might ensure that this doesn't happen again? Your whole day is now going to be messed up so maybe you'd best take a nap this afternoon to catch up on your sleep. I'm sure you had a lot of job-search work to do today (isn't Wednesday your "researching" day?) but maybe you can change the schedule.

That's what I figured.

I live on the third floor and it can be cold out but my bedroom can be like an oven.

I'm sure he's not in too much of a hurry, because if he is interested in a company he must wait until "Cold email/call Friday" to contact them.
