I've been sending off my resume to companies via their website, which I trust to an extent, but I had to fill out an online application with one company because "that's how everyone's doing it now."

No one needs to be reminded about internet security issues since they are so rampant these days.

I don't mind filling out online apps but Job Apps is a network and they require you to fill in your social security number. I went to the brick and mortar site for the company I was applying for to fill out a hard copy application and they do not use them. It all has to be filled out online.

Online banking networks aren't even 100% safe!

I don't feel safe about having to include my SSN on networks like this.

Has anyone heard of any problems with JobApp Network or other?

Avoid anything asking for your SS #.
