Actually anyone who is intelligent and motivated who wants to rise to a management level in McDonalds and is willing to do the work required WILL rise into management with that company. Someone with 30 years of OD, operations, or sales management experience could become a regional manager in five years. Same thing with many companies including Aarons, Yum Brands, 7-11, and Aldi.

How do recognize a convict or an ex-offender working at McDonald's? Is there some visual clue?

Why not just join linkedin and attend networking events? And who wants to work around a bunch of silly teens at 50?

Prison tattoos or an ankle monitor are usually a good sign...

First of all, there are a lot of retirees and moms who want flexible schedules who also work at McDonalds.

Second, it's not just your coworkers, it's also the customers. Those are the real networking potential--and this man is playing it right.
