Not at all. Most large companies will have showers and people who bike to work a long way can use them. We see people biking to the financial district, across the I-90 bridge, and flocks of Microsoft people biking to work 10-15 miles. My boss makes over 150k and bikes to work.
Is biking to work unprofessional? Is it always a cut and dry yes or no, or does it depend on the specifics of the situation?
No, I had plenty of co-workers and supervisors that biked to work. It's pretty typical if you work in the city (I worked in Washington DC, so there were bikes all over the place).
Absolutely not. How do employers outside the reach of mass transit expect employees who cannot drive to get to work? (Well, if they paid me taxi fare every single day, I might go along with it...)
