Depends on what you're planning to do.

I personally can't stand it, but I'm not a BS'er. I don't even embellish and I have no ego. Unfortunately in my business (offshore sportfishing) there are a lot of BS'ers, lairs, embelishers and people with very large egos. That is why some people get into this business mating on a charter boat and within 2 years they are running one and they have absolutely no experience but people like me have had an extremely successful career mating on assorted charter and private boats all over the place and am still only a mate over 20 years later. They also BS their way into better jobs as mates on higher paying boats and in this business with seasons in particular areas only a few month's long, by the time the owners or captains have found out they should have hired someone else the season is halfway over and they figure they'll just stick with the one they have.

I know one person who fished with me on a particular boat I was working on in the Caribbean as a paying customer and a few years later he put down that boat and that place as part of his job history and got a decent job out of it. Needless to say I was a bit pissed!

DUDE.

You're all over the place. Get some actual professional counseling. At age 25 you have a LONG LIFE ahead of yourself to waste it debating on every single topic you can think of and sabotaging yourself over and over. You're the one in a shelter, right? So alot of good all these straw men baseless opinions have done you.

OH and my advise is do NOT try and be a BS'er. You're not very good at it.

How do I BS my way into this job?

Hats off to those of you who work in offices

Why do the most incompetent people get promoted?

So disappointed...

I hate to admit it but I'm done..
I am starting to think that the OP is a mythomaniac. Well, it was entertaining while it lasted.
