I'm graduating grad school in a couple month and have a job lined up with a smallish European tech company (a few hundred employees). The CEO is going to be in my city this week and HR scheduled a meeting for me to meet with him.

I must admit I'm nervous given that I'm assuming theres is a small possibility my job might disappear if the meeting goes poorly.

What do you think appropriate attire would be for something like this. Business casual or should I suit up?

Tech companies are usually business casual and less than business casual. I would wear slacks, a dress shirt and a jacket. You can remove your jacket if the CEO also does not have one on, during the meeting.

European tech company? Wear a suit.

Where is he meeting you? That always makes a difference
