It has a lid and is sealed when I'm not getting a drink. The nearest water fountain is at the front of the store by the bathrooms. So it takes time for us to walk up there and get a drink. Anyways my question is is it against policy to have a sealed drink in the backroom? I looked at osha and they said it is not against policy to have drinks as long as our drinks don't get contaminated... What should I do about this..?
It's not sealed when you uncap it to drink. You might ask if you can bring in the type with a sport cap, or if a spill proof water bottle would be acceptable. The answer will probably still be no, but it doesn't hurt to try. Is there an area you can keep your drink that isn't in the stock room but not as far as the front of the store, a back hallway perhaps?
